Basil Kadha



  • 10-15 Basil
  • 1-1/2 Lemongrass
  • 25mm Ginger
  • 6 Cups Water
  • 4 Tsp Jaggery


  1. Wash the Basil, Lemongrass and Ginger.
  2. Boil water in deep pan.
  3. Add Basil, Lemongrass and Ginger and boil for 3-4 minutes
  4. If the Panna is not very tangy, you can add some lemon juice to it.
  5. Add jaggery and mix well then turn off the gas
  6. Strain and serve hot.
