Blood and Sand



  • 3/4 fl oz Fresh blood orange juice
  • 3/4 fl oz Cherry liqueur
  • 3/4 fl oz Sweet vermouth
  • 3/4 fl oz Scotch
  • An orange
  • Ice
  • A chilled coupe glass


  1. Add orange juice, cherry liqueur, vermouth, and scotch to a mixing tin.
  2. Add ice to mixing tin.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Double-strain into a chilled coupe.
  5. Garnish with an orange swath.
