Spiced Harvest Fall Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 Red apple, sliced
  • 1 Green apple, sliced
  • 1 Pear, sliced
  • 1 Plum, sliced
  • 1 bottle (750 mL) Merlot
  • 2 cups Spiced rum
  • 2 cups Apple juice
  • 1 cup Pomegranate juice
  • 1/3 cup Simple syrup
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 2 Rosemary sprigs
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks

Directions

  1. Place the chopped fruit in the bottom of a large pitcher. Pour in the wine, spiced rum, cranberry juice, apple juice, pomegranate juice, and simple syrup. Stir and add in the nutmeg, rosemary, and cinnamon sticks. Fill the bottom layer of the pitcher with cranberries.
  2. Sangria should be refrigerated for at least 30 minutes before serving, but is better if refrigerated for several hours or overnight.
  3. Enjoy!
