Ingredients

• .75 oz rye whiskey
• .75 oz cognac
• .75 oz sweet vermouth
• .5 tsp Benedictine
• 1 dash angostura bitters
• 1 dash Peychaud bitters
• lemon peel

Directions

1. Combine liquid ingredients in an ice-filled shaker
2. Shake for approximately 20 seconds.
3. Add ice to an Old Fashioned glass. Larger ice cubes are better here.
4. Strain into the Old Fashioned glass
5. Zest the drink and glass with the lemon peel and then twist and place in glass.
